I am not sure if its just my server eclipse but I have noticed a sharp raise in the price of reasouces again, and not just a little bit either. Hide has shot up in price and some types namely tatooine wooly I have been priced out of the market by the armoursmiths by them offering up to 50cpu.

As a tailor I can afford to offer those sorts of prices but I have noticed a shortage of even basic hides, I used to pay 3cpu and had no trouble getting hold of them. These days bargins can still be had but I do have to shop around a lot more and I am forced to use smaller stacks and large quanties are no longer found.

I think we have a mixture of problems, the wookie armour has certainly caused a galaxy wide shortage of wooly hide. However without the requirement to grind namely the scout profession for jedi people dont bother to even harevest the kills any more. In fact I wonder if people do much killing anymore it seems focused on high end loot items from NPC's

Well the only way around it I can think of is to shop around, start paying the high prices. I have already increased the cost of my wooly hide items but before long all hide based clothes will have to go up in price.

Anyone having the same issues on their server ?

Maybe there is a current spawn on Tat that is really good and worth 50cpu? You can usually buy wooly for 5-10cpu on Ahazi, unless its some uber stuff that tailors don't need anyway.

Is everyone still hunting rancor's on dath?

Back during the hologrind I waited until there was an astoundingly abysmal spawn of leathery on dathomiir and bought over 100k of leathery over the course of the weeks spawn from the bazaar at 1 to 3 cpu.

With the hologrind over that might not be an option anymore, but it's something to try for leathery at least.

With the holo grind nearly over, many people dropped novice scout. HOWEVER, with the NEW hologrind making the old one look like child's play, people will be picking it back up. weapons xp converts 30 :1. People will be grinding like never before. With any luck, they'll grind multiple xp, adding scout to that weapon/ combat/ crafting/ dancing/ merchant/ etc they need.

Luckly for me, i am also a MAS , and most of my return customers i also buy the harvested resources from. In turn with there lower sale prices for hides/bone, i can sell my final product at a much lower cost. but as soon as (hasnt happened yet) the resource price increases, ill also raise my final product cost as well so i make the same amount of profit.
