Hi all,

Saw top model yesterday and it got me thinking.......

Many players a tired of only fight, well I am, so why don't we do something different and Ithink this idea

might be most possible if allot of tailor work together, and I think this idea have not be done before on the game.

My though is "A fashion show" and I think I got this figure out how to make it to.

This is something it would need:

- A big guildhall where players a charge to enter like 10k

- some player to do the show

- Tailors..... to craftFULL setclothing's, shirt, skirts, pants, dresses the hole work, full set

clothing's will need to look good together of course

- maybe a "id" to do hair. etc

more ideas will be needed......

But my point is we as players will need to make more of swg then fight, die and grind.

Don't think those who crafted this game made the operabuilding because it looks good or other buildings.

You can do allot on this game if you want to.

Replay if you like the idea and got some more ideas what we can do in the game

Just replay if you got something positive to post!

excellent idea.. i have been thinking about this myself

Do some model shows, with your new clothes.. entrance fee.. and after the show is done, people can order these clothes

Maybe using the Theatre to this would be cool.. then the Theatre would also get a purpose

Of course that problem is to make this show happen, you know getting this message out to your home server is not so easy, the only way to let everyone know theres a show coming up is through a Csr. btw im on Farstar

I've seen [ads for] a variety of fashion contests and shows on Intrepid and other servers. If you want to have a fashion show, I would recommend posting on your server's forum and go from there.

I've done many fashion shows and they are always very popular.

Right now I am working on a combination dance/fashion show with dancers and musicians with different outfits, songs and dances to go with the clothes. Then we'll be travelling to player cities on our server to 'show' the event, though we are not charging admission. The people watching are asked to 'tip' the ents directly.

By having it in player cities it's more of a guarentee that we'll have people there to watch, have the mayors and so forth get the word out.

My very first fashion show crashed the servers... it was a huge success.

This has been done a lot of times, but probably not enough. There are lots of ways to "get the word out". There are listings for galaxy-specific player events under the galaxy forum listings. Afk-shouting at the starports is of course effective. Signs in popular malls, advertising at popular cantinas, and email distributions also work pretty well. Posts in galaxy trade and in the galaxy forums will also help.
