My Tailor Industry is not a mutli million crd thing. Did not get into to get rich but make stuff for my guild friends that are AS and make snazzy cloths for me and my family... SWG total tonnage is me 2, Wife 2, each daughter 1 and son 1. I do alot of custom work. Th e hardest thing I have had it color matching to a person that is IDed. Not me mind you but the customer..saying that is not the right shade of blue or my skins is paler. So what do you my borther and sisters ofone of the best Prof I can think of except Commando do in cases of these......

if my customers get whiny, I ask them to find another tailor. if they piss me off, they get booted.

tailoring is something I enjoy, and I don't need weirdos to ruin my day, you know? not that there aren't enough of those already...

No offense, but there's not much point in seeing a tailor for a custom outfit if they're not going to try and do what you want....

Depends on how annoying they are though. Sometimes people with custom orders can be absolutely clueless, in which case I usually direct them toa tailor catalog so they can figure out what they want. I mean, I've had requests foramafia outfit. Idon't know what to make for a mafia outfit. Or a Neo outfit. I've neverseen the Matrix, I don't know what he looks like lol.

The bottom line is that I tailor to have fun, and if someone ruins that fun, I don't want todeal with them.

and bottom line for any crafter, it is your right to do or not do so.

I do not care how polite someone is, or how informed their order is..
If I state I am not crafting..I AM NOT CRAFTING
If they can not answer my questions coherently about an order, I do not want to do their order

It is Your business to run how you see fit..personal sessions, vendor stock, special orders, componants..whatever..
It is up to you alone at that time what you want to do.

there's a difference between annoying and clueless. I have no problem (and actually like) helping someone if they don't know what they want, or I'll point them to Tiaga's webpage; however, if they start whining or is rude (about prices, service, the fact that I actually ask them to look thru my vendors first or that I point them to an out of game webpage, etc.) then I don't want to deal with them.

What I do when the customers get to be that way, I tell them that my computer monitor and their computer monitor are not the same, so more than likelythe settings are not going to be the same, hence, we are notgoing to perceive the colors the same so its either take it or leave it at that point.
