Thread: ok advice needed for outfit

Ok guys,
I'm asking RP'ing GF out on a date coming up, in which I am going to propose to her. I need advice on an outfit to craft for her to make it extra special occasion. The date will be consisting of a fishing trip on the shores of Tyrena. I imagine something casual would be great, but thought i would ask you guys first. I'm currently looking at the catalogue for something of interest to me.
So what do you guys think? I know she likes the blue/white combo, i made an outfit for her in those colors.
any advice is appreciated

Methinks you've spent too much time around the Ranger boards. HAWTpants are a wonderful garment and will allow your girlfriend to wield the power of all that is HAWT!
If I were doing something like this, I'd coordinate with the planet, so with Corellia, I'm thinking you'll probably want to do something like white boots, a sports bustier in blue and white (or the revealing top in either blue or white), and your choice of legwear... HAWTpants are always a fashionable choice, but Crafters Pants, Lined Shorts, or even Quilted Pants would probably work nicely too.
Oh, I just remembered another good combo!
You could try: Crafters Pants, Low Cut Top, and boots. If she's a Twi'lek, a Lekku wrap would work nicely with this too. If it gets cold or rainy while you're out fishing, a white cloak would fit over it all perfectly.

So i take Naboo's colors are green/white or green/brown or something similar?

Actually, I think shades of any color can work with every planet, just have to brighten or dull them as needed. I was more referring to planet/environment for the clothing style itself. On Naboo, you might want something more formal than on Corellia. So you might choose the quilted pants instead. Maybe even a skirt or dress(although going fishing in a dress doesn't seem like the greatest idea). If it were the same event on Naboo, I might suggest a Short Wrap with a Sports Bustier. Overall, just go with what you like. That's all I'm doing--throwing out suggestions on what I might do or various outfits my customers have liked in the past.

well she hated the hawtpants idea
she put on whatever she wanted to. got out to the date site, and she was having issues with another player who wouldnt leave her alone so she told me to postpone it till tomorrow. then promptly LD logged. Can't really blame her tho, sure i got left there but the guy on the other end is a real pain. will try tomorrow

So how did the next day go?
I missed out on the suggestion part. It's hard to decide on what outfit to make someone without knowing their personal style.
How about white demins (thin striped pants) blue top and white jacket and boots to match? Add soem white shorts too. ANother of my favorites is the striped shorts. They look like capris...Would look nice in blue and with white and a nice matching top. And some white sandals too.
