I am a doctor and my alt made me a doctors bag for? extra storage?. It has a radial menu with several options but I can't seem to get anything inside.

it's not working, and I don't think the devs have any plans on making it work any time soon.

(in other words, it just looks pretty. it's useless atm)

a doc bag is a artisan item, they are pointless worthless and 'lore' {you can only have 1 of them}

do not waste time nor resources on these things by any means.

I read somewhere that it's a bug, it should have been taken out before the CU hit live but wasn't which is why it doesn't work.

A dev at fanfest admitted to leaving this in... it is not supposed to be there.

Its not a tailor item, but basically it was something that they wanted to add for the CU but it never really went anywhere. They got as far as making the schematic but didn't put the rest of the code in and the idea was eventually dropped. They forgot to remove the schematic though. Personally I hope that they keep the schematic but remove the radial options on it because it makes a nice decoration. The nimoidian birdcage has a simillar story I think.

Yes, there is an invisible, silent bird in there The art team never managed to finish it in time and haven't gone back to complete it yet.

I think that story came out of last year's Fan Fest.

It was "The Riddle" of beta and right after launch. "What goes in the Nemodian Bird Cage?" They coyly hinted and hemmed and hawed. But no "Dev" answers. Then yes, last year they finally caved and admitted it was unfinished and not implemented. It was supposed to be like a "Mocking Bird." You were supposed to be able to "teach" it a few phrases, or it was supposed to "mock" whatever someone near it had just said. I can't recall exactly.

It would be awesome if they ever did finally put that in game. I would love to have a Mocking Bird!

As for the Doc's bag... it would be nice if they left it in game as a non-usable decor item. Or like a cargo pocket. Holds only 20 items but is craftable. More craftable bags that hold various amounts have been on our wish list a long, long time. Gift bags? Present boxes? A bag that will hold a complete outfit or suit of armor or all the comps to make X, Y or Z? And colorizable backpacks too! Yeah. That would be great!

The thing that really upsets me about the doc bag is that it's not in the tailor tree. I thought we had exclusive rights to useless, half-implemented eye-candy

Not exclusive! Architects get their fair share!
