It´s prolly been asked before, but since I´m not the most active on this forum I´ll ask once again anyway

Has there been any news/info on when they´ll fix the colour palett?
Since our business strongly bases on making schem factoried clothing to restock our vendor´s, this bugg is now getting to a very critical point to more and more tailor´s.

Unable to restock, only able to make custom orders seriously starts to hurt, at least in my case.

Sure, custom orders pays of really good, but they also cost alot of BE tissues. This due to (in my case) most custom orders are for BE clothing and the usual requirement of 4 sockets.
And as most people know, BE tissues ain´t cheap.

It would be a disaster if some of us would have to "close" our vendor´s or services due to not beeing able to restock

I hate to loose customers due to something that´s out of my hands.
If my services is bad, my clothes to expansive etc etc I can take the blame, but telling a customer "I´m sorry I can´t make those clothes for you/you´re friends/your guild, cause the dev´s made a "misstake" fills me with sadness/bitterness.

Plz tell me you´ve got some happy information....plz plz plz....

I would direct you to this thread. The devs are working on it, but no other news yet.

I agree that the bug needs to be addressed soon, but I strongly disagree that "our business strongly bases on making schem factoried clothing to restock our vendor´s". I hand craft my clothing, and I have a pretty well stocked shop. granted that I sold over 350 items (250+ of them clothing) over the time I was gone for fanfest and have been stuck here restocking since, but I make decent money without custom orders.

as for 4 sockets, I flat out tell my customers that sockets are random. if the order is expensive (BE tissued) they can pay me half the item price per try for 4 sockets, or I have a vendor with 4 sockets pre-(hand)made items with prices marked up.

More or less the same as Pappi. I hand craft everything. My vendors carry, on average, 3000+ items. I spend a lot of time crafting and stocking. I restock daily. I made 2 million in sales this weekend. I have a lot of restocking left to do today. I don't care about the sockets. There's plenty there with 4 sockets if that's what they want. 0 sockets or 4 sockets, same price. And I do custom orders too. The only clothing items I've ever made in a factory are the quest reward schematics.

I agree with Pappi. It's not the "end of the world" -- our business is not strongly based on factory made clothing. It's not a game-breaker if you have to hand craft for a while.

I stock about 3,800 tailored items at all times, of which 99% are handcrafted.I'm proud to say that I carry between one and dozens of every item we can craft as tailors. On that front, the current color palette bug isn't a big deal for me. BUT....

I make crates of guild uniforms for my guild. Then the uniforms are passed out by the guild leaders. Since I'm very busy keeping my vendors stocked at around 4,000 items (yes, I sell all crated tailor components and non-tailor items too!), I've been very grateful to my guild leaders for passing out the uniforms to save me time and vendor space. *sigh* So now, due to thecrate/palette bug,the new players must come to me personally to get their uniforms handcrafted.

I'm not upset so much because it adds work for me; I feel the new guildmembers are being more inconvenienced than I.Since I lack vendor space, they have to track me down when I'm online. I play at very odd hours and for short periods spaced out between rests (due topermanent back problems; I'm disabled). Plus, the new guild members' uniforms aren't guaranteed to have four sockets, which I used to make by the crate. I feel, as my guild's tailor, that new and old members alike should have the best clothes to tuck all those attachments into!

And how cool is it to join a great guild and to immediately receive some great, high quality threads on the spot, instead of having to run around or wait around before being able to jump right in (team spirit and all) with the new guildmembers, proudly wearing your new guild's colors? I've heard so often "in person" and in guild chat, that the uniforms look great and make people really feel part of a team. And, I admit, they all look formidable and fantastic together when travelling, adventuring, or just plain goofing off. Eventhough the uniforms are optional, more guildmembers wear them than not.

Anyway, yes, you can run a very successful business by handcrafting all your stock. I do. But this crate/palette bug affects more than just us as tailors; others are suffering too.
