Thread: Shouldn't removal of 1% decay be a Top 5 Issue?
I have always bought things from tailors. I have changed my look5 times, not counting the fact that I usually have 2 or more outfits on me (I buy more clothes than weapons). Right nowone of my outfits consists of 6 clothing items.
But that has changed. It isn't worth the trouble anymore.
Now I will be buying bodysuits. They are only 1 item. 1 to insure, 1 to replace, and only 1 to mourn. And I will only have 1 on me at any time. I'll buy several, and stash them in my bank slot, never to visit a tailor again for months. Or heck, why visit a tailor at all, so long as I'm going for less customization? These items can be found on the bazaar.
I'm sorry. You can hate me, you can be angry with me, and that's all up to you. I'd be angry too. I'm just telling you how I feel. I truly think you should make the removal of 1% decay a priority for your profession.
Just a fyi but the new death decay isn't going to kill the clothes market or anything
. And while this isn't the clothing decay option we wanted (we wanted usage decay), it's still better to have some decay then none at all.
I'm terribly sorry you won't be buying clothes anymore and all, but um.... meh
No.
Sorry, you asked...
Yes! Buy bodysuits!
They take more resources than most other clothing, so a bodysuit will usually cost more to buy than a decent pants/shirt/jacket combo (depending on what you pick out). So go ahead, do it! ![]()

Sorry to sound incompassionate, but no.
1% decay is neccessary to prevent our crated items from being indestrucable. We've been lobbying for decay since day 1 in order to safeguard our profession. If you want to preserve your clothes, repair kits are the way to go. These are relatively cheap and easy to get (bazaar, tailor shops).
To insure all of my combat character's clothing and a bunch of other random items in my pack, it cost me approximately 3.5k.
How is 1% decay from combat wear-and-tear even with insurance a problem again?
Its small mistakes like this that don't help people seeing why this decay stuff is a good idea. And no I did not ingame bug this or write a ticket, because ever since the "Great Ticket Wipe" I have had no respect for that. They just ignored any problems I had, yet continued to take my cash.
