I was around for the first couple months and just resubbed yesterday. To make $, I would make 1000 Synth Cloths from my factory, giving me crates of 25. I'd then sell them on the bazaar for $3k/crate. They would ALWAYS sell.

This leads me to believe that maybe I could get more $ for a crate of Synth Cloth. They do not have the Bio Component included because I was always told that part was broken. Is it fixed now?

Bascially just wondering what Synth Cloth is worth. Thanks for your input.

I am selling them for 5000 credits a crate and I rarely have trouble selling them.

I used to sell them at 4000 per crate, and looked at that as a purposely high price to deter people from buying too much and leaving me short for my own needs.

Lately, I've acquired a good, steady source for resources, so I've started mass-producing crates to keep my factory busy, and thus have big surpluses, so I've started pushing them for sale more aggressively, lowering my price to 3000 per crate (and 4000 per RFP crate, down from the previous 6000.)

OK thanks. My friend told me I should be selling them for more. Do you just stand in town and /shout to sell them for 5k? I get a nice quick turnaround on the bazaar so that part's nice.

I don't think I've sold *anything* through the shouting method in months. Haven't listed synth cloth on the bazaar yet, though I probably should. Basically, I just put mine up on my vendor, which is used as a joint storage/sales device (i.e., I grab a crate for my own use off the vendor when I need it.)

The other thing I did is create a second vendor for "non-clothing" stuff, and listed her for "Components" on global advertising, though I haven't noticed any business from that yet. About 95% of my cloth sales have been to my next-door neighbor armorsmith friend (and I just sold 19 crates of RFP to another armorsmith friend in one fell swoop.) I'm trying to expand my sales market for this stuff, but haven't put much effort into it yet.

Well I can attest to the fact that synth cloth sells on the bazaar. I sold 17 crates (at 3k per) in about 1 minute yesterday to someone who was grinding. I guess I'll maybe try to sell through the boards.

I think there's big server differences in this instance, cause I had trouble selling em for 3k per. Too many people sell synth cloth crates for 2.5k and RFP crates for 3k on bria, and that's just not worth it for me.

I can make 40 crates of 25 in about 2 days with a factory. 16000 fiberplast and 4000 chemical. @ $3k per crate, that's $120,000. Of course they take a few days to sell as well.I mine all my own resources.Not too bad for a dabbler.

Unfortunately some tailors on Wanderhome bottomed out these prices at 1500 per crate. It used to be a nice business. Now it doesn't matter whether you're a master or just brand new so I don't really bother with it.

NO WONDER I haven't sold any! That's near criminal!

i have sold them for as much as 10k a crate. I price them up whem i am poor and price them down more fair when i have money. I think 5k is fair.
