But i need help on what i'm going up against.

Like...

What materials am i going to need? What give best xp? How can i grind though it?

Materials: Polymer, Fiberplast, Steel, Metal.

Grindage: Ribbed Shirts up to Field Wear IV, Cartridge belts to master.

Oh yeah, and don't forget to have fun with it. Tailoring can be quite rewarding. If I were you, I'd take the time to make a wardrobe for myself while I worked on that.

This is a great guide.

I'm a Holo Tailor as well (how I do miss Pistoleer/BH Pistol). I went Ribbed Shirts to Steel Link Gloves to Cartridge Belts to the boring grind to Master (was maxed at 120k XP for 45 mins before realizing it; almost cried).

Right after I master tailor I'm going to make myself some BE clothes that can work with my Imperial Uniform (boots, gloves, grey dress slacks).

can anyone give an estimate as to how much of these resiurces are needed. i.e 100k fiberplast etc etc

1-musician-not bad and met great people in the cantina

You will need alot more then that. A few hundred k.

For what it's worth, i bought all my resources to grind off the bazaar at 3 cr per or less....With travel and some messing around, my bank account was a bit over a million credits down!!!! Do a search, somewhere it will tell you how much you need....
