SOE's sent me a free 2 weeks, so I thought I'd pop into the forums and see how the class is doing.
Anything new? Is Master tailor still the max, or did we get an elite-elite profession?

Hey Snowleeper. Good to see you back. I'm back on my free 2 weeks too (I left around the same time as you), but so far haven't seen anything worthwhile to make me want to stay. There's still the same ol' boring selection of clothes (even more boring for you since you're a Wookie) and none of them match or fit very well still ... oh well.

Actually, the Wookiee color selection has improved dramatically. Anything with metal in it can have the metal colored various shades of blue, teal and red now. Before, we were basically limited to gold, silver and bronze. I have my guild's Wookiees decked out in red and black Decorative Waistwraps and red and black Weighted Hoods and they love them!!
Also, since September, bio-enhancements have been improved. The majority of the bugs have been ironed out so that things stack correctly now, and demand is still growing as people learn about it. Lot of credits to be made! I started off with 150k worth of enhancers and am now a multi-millionaire. Those +25 Wound/Injury Treatment items, especially, just seem to fly off the vendor.

Not really a tailor specific thing, but you can craft out of packs (storage containers) now. Single clicking on a crate fills the entire slot.

Yep armorsmiths can color armor without needing to be tailors now and the new metallic colors really look better on armor than they do clothes. You still have to run out and take care of your harvesters though.
It's definately getting better.. there is a big combat revamp coming up, more info on that in the in concept forum.

Hiya kervix!
Yep, looks like it's starting to clear up many of the game's issues. More colors and hat schematics add a little more color into the game. The BE fixes sound neat sine I'm 1/2 to Master BE. But what about the ability to have droids feed/empty harvesters? Did they ever get around to doing that? Oh, and did armorers every get their own color line? Or do half the armorers have tailoring IV to color their armor?
It doesn't look like I'm ready to come back full time, but SOE is certainly making steps in the right direction. Now if they just add more content for my fighter character, it'll be worth subscribing for.

WOOOHOOO!!!
The #1 best thing about the tailoring profession recenty.... NO MORE HOLOGRINDERS!!!
That's right! SOE has changed the system for becoming a jedi. This means that the mindless grinding that everyone has been doing will end. People will return to the profession they love, and the economy will perk back to life. I love it!

The luxurious gown is now fully functional! You can customize both the bodice and the skirt. Other fixed items include the sigiled waist wrap, the dress uniform jacket, the thin pleated skirt, the pocketed shorts, and others - all colors customizable. Backpacks can be worn with Grand Healer Robes and Grand Ball Gowns.
