Hi all. I am trying to get the 2 extra experimentation points as an armorsmith and need some wardrobe advice. I need to know the total number of clothing items with 4 sockets I could get on at a time and what this setup could be. My guild tailor had said 6 items but someone else said 9 so I'll ask the community here.
Thanks.

It's somewhat of a bogus question. The reason is because there really is no use for having over 1 socket per item. At least that is my understanding. This is because people have reported that if you put more than one skill tape in an item of clothing, one will "win" and one will "lose", getting you only 1 of the 2 bonuses.

Actually, you can add 4 different kinds of tapes to soem clothes, the key word is 'different'. If you put the same kind of tape it wont work, if you put a tape with 2 mods only the highest will stay. But you can put let's say 1 dodge 1 cover 1 pistol accuracy 1 food experimentation.
However, there is a 6 mods cap per outfit, so i agree that people asking 4 sockets are pretty unaware of how it works.

This is not a bogus question at all. The only thing I have not heard about is the 6 mods per outfit limitation. I am aware of all the other things that happen when you socket. I would like the 4 sockets for at least 3 things that I know I would like to put in: armor experimentation, armor assembly, and armor repair. Thus I can make a great armorsmith crafting outfit.
