Thread: Help us Anabelle, you're our only hope!
Had to say that.
But seriously I think your solution would be the best one. Have an increase in resources on the bazaar but not items like clothes, weapons and so forth. This would work for me, but we do need your voice for communication with the Dev's.
I am unsure what TH was saying about Monopolies... so he should comment further on that if he can so we're not befuddled by this statement.
Maybe he is trying to help new crafters sell their wares, I'm unclear as to why the changes would even be needed. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
cool.
I know there can be a reasonable solution, as long as the Devs don't just rush in and make changes without taking into consideration the impact of the change on all professions.
I just want to continue to run a successful buisness.

We're talking to them about it. Tailors are well represented amoung the correspondents, Vandessa and Kwee are both there with me and the merchant correspodent too. I don't think any of us are happy about this proposal.
We are so lucky that there are three correspondents (Anabelle, Vandessa and Kwee) who are active tailors and understand the issues. I just wished that they actually listened to you guys. I think that they are going to have to go ahead and implement the vendor nerf before they see the problems and fix it again.

You may be right but it sure wont be from lack of trying. Thanks for the response, Ana!! Much appreciated!!
Anabelle, are there any signs of hope from where you sit? It seems to me like they're pretty determined to punish us severely for being tailors.
does any other profession have so many schematics/colour variations as tailors?
good luck annabelle!
We definately have more variationthan anyone else Elui.
I can understand it's hard situation to deal with, a cap that is more than generous for other professions can be stifling for us. And I don't think it would be fair to tie the cap to what crafting profession you have (as I've seen some people suggest), because merchants do not have to be crafters. A "pure merchant" may wish to deal in clothes so the limit would still hurt them.
So far there has been no news.

Are there any signs of hope yet, even slim ones? Do the devs seem to be actively rejecting tailor concerns, not hearing us, or just maintaining total radio silence? I'm afraid the devs have successfully used a "divide and conquer" strategy to co-opt the "pure merchant" mafia here. (The "tailors want to run shops? Then they should all be Master Merchants, because merchants run shops, not crafters" argument.)
Right now I am getting the feeling that since we are not up for our revamp yet, tailor concerns are completely irrelevant. This vendor cap thing is really frustrating because there is absolutely nothing we can do about it and they won't even say what they are going to do so that I can prepare for it. If I chose the wrong merchant tree, it will be almost impossible for me go up four merchant levels from the time the changes are posted on test center to the time they go live.
