Wondering what the opinion is of success for a "Wookiee ONLY Tailor Shop"? Did a search didn't find any other posts.

Goin to do Tailor as my next profession and wanted to only make wookiee clothing... since I am a wookiee

Would hopefully stock ALL the possible colors for ALL the items... just wonder if wookiees are still wearing clothes w/ the coming of wookiee armor... and a couple more sets on the way??

All the wookiees I know still wont take off my terrible looking clothes!

But then agian, maybe they only do it to mock me. But it IS funny seeing an orange wookiee in pink clothing...

Well, now, I have some experience w/ this subject. When i started tailor, 8-million years ago (it feels like) i had the grand idea of being a great wookiee tailor, in spite of my being a Twi'lek. I have a great passion for Wookiees in game.

I was sooooo sick of seeing all the wookiees on my server run around in Brown, Black, and the occassional White, just for a splash of color. I thought I'd corner the market in wookiee fashion and make lovely hued garments for the wookiees out there.

So i began tailor and merchant. Moved my up to being able to finally have mulitiple vendors and a nice set of schematics, not Master yet, but still a good selection. I only had random NPC's at the time for vendor choices, but i diligently kept creating a vendor until I finally got myself a Wookiee vendor. I set him up to be my Wookiee wear vendor, and started stocking all the wookiee items i had and all the miserable colors i had at my disposal then, confident that this would improve as I moved up the ranks of Tailor.

Sadly i was mistaken. By the time i hit colors 2, i had pretty much maxed out the palettes available for wookiee wear. Sure, colors 3 gave me some more metal colors, but the leather palette was as good as it gets. I suddenly realized why all the wookiees had such horrible clothes, that's pretty much all there was to choose from.

My Wookiee vendor eventually was abandoned as i was not selling enough on it to make sense to continue the maintaince for it. It was a sad day to let that dream die. I have sense tried to spark up the wookiee sales again as I make enough on my non-wookiee vendors to afford the money sink of a wookiee only vendor, but unfortunately since the advent of wookiee armor, the few wookiee customers i had, no longer wear anything but armor and I can't even sell wookiee items on the bazaar. Each time i try, they run out of time before the first piece has even sold. Now i could simply restock them and try again, but as they are taking up space on bazaar that i could load up w/ items i know will sell and make room sell more things, there by bringing in money for me, i have opted to abandon wookiee-dom all together.

I would love to see a wookiee only shop, my only warning is that i have found sells hard to come by and earning a living off wookiee wear near impossible. I'm sure others have made it work, but sadly I have not. Good luck to you and if you pull it off i will dance a lil dance of delite as I really would like to see this idea fly.

I've kept with my wookiee-only vendor even though I don't get many sales from it. It saves non-wookiees buying clothing they can't wear and vice-versa. Every now and then I will get a message from a wookiee saying thank you for making their clothes shopping easier, and that makes me keep it

How many tailor shops on your server stock wookiee clothing? I personally have almost 1k wookie items on my wookiee vendor, and I doas muchwookiee businessas I do regular clothing. Of course, I also stock yellow and pink wookiee items You'll find however, even if you are the only wookiee clothing suppplier on your server, that you'll still have plenty of time leftover to stock human/others stuff. Ask yourself, how much play time you really have. Ask yourself, how much time do you want to spend hunting and playing the game, instead of stocking. How much time per day or 3 do you want to invest in stocking?

If you only want to spend an hour or 2 a week dealing with your vendors, once you're set up, wookiee only really will be the way to go. If you can afford more time than that, well....

I stock daily forAT LEASTan hour. I have over 8k items in stock now, across 6 vendors, and am still expanding my lines ( looks as if 14k will be my max out point).

Well it does my lil twi'lek heart good to hear that others have had success w/ stocking wookiee items. I really wanted to specialize in this, but it didn't seem to work out on my server. Tirgwystraff and Arthur seem to have made a go of it, so i say, press on young wookiee tailor!!

Hi,i think its a great idea and wish there was a wookie only vendor on my server.Even with the arrival of wookie armour i still like to put on my robe and weighted hood. Its really hard to find vendors that stock wookie clothing and it would be great to know of a vendor where you could go and be guaranteed to find the clothing you are looking for.I just wish you were on my server!

I honestly find over 90% of my wookiee sales come when one of the lovable little hairballs wanders into me somewhere and says 'I need an outfit that looks like ______'

What server you on? My tailor is on Kauri. If we knew your server, we might be able to point you in the right direction...
