I think its time that us Ladies get a Backpack that fits our body.

something like a small purse or satchel that is alot smaller in size and holds the same amount but looks good when we have a dress on.

The Dancer that have tailoring skill like to carry tailor supplies on them so they can tailor an outfit for a fellow dancer or 1 of the guys in the band.

The backpacks we have now are ok for the men but us ladies look a bit butch with them on

someone put a bee in the Devs Ear plz, us Ladies would like to see a smaller backpack.

A handbag gets my vote.

Go much better with my dress than a BH backpack, and i need one to store my crafting gear

Ladies need a better backpack, true.

But I think everyone in general needs better backpacks. With the crazy amount of weapons I carry with me everywhere I go, plus powerups, and brandy, and canape, etc, basically all of my stuff for Rifleman, it totals up to around 20 items. When i also carry at least 1 crate of every component, 2 in fact for everything except metal fasteners, plus resources, my inventory fills quickly. I always have a full backpack on, because as a combat hybrid I need to carry items for both professions. I typically have no more than 20 spots open in my inventory at any given time, maybe less if I am not wearing my armor (which is most of the time).

Unfortunately, with the necessity of wearing a backpack, I would like to wear cloths that at least complement it. That idea didn't work like I wanted it to. So now im stuck wishing for just more backpack types, or if nothing more, colors!

...but thats just my misguided point of view.

Here's some ideas.....

1. Why not have a bandolier that works as a pack since you can't equip em both at the same time anyway. I know many people that would rather have a bandolier rather than a pack on.

2. Have "invisible" packs for formal occasions. (I realize this would be a problem when you dropped it in a house, but maybe have it appear as a deed instead)

3. We need a crafter's pack that can hold many more items. I have a vendor on Corellia and Talus. Since I live on Talus it's not a problem to run back and forth to get more supplies, but the Corellian one........ I have to make 2 trips, at least, to restock every 2 days.... I know, I know, go every day and you only have to do one trip per day. This still doesn't solve my problem.

4. Have a crafter's bag that can only hold crates of premade items. Maybe only equipable by merchants (since you can not wear certain clothes as a human man or, most known, wookie.

I would think a relatively easy solution is there already are Satchels and those small pockets you can put items into. Just make it so Tailors can make equipable versions of these that hold 25 items and10 items respectively. The only serious addition that would need to be made would be the equipped art for these on the characters themselves.

But, either way, I agree we need something other than a backpack that we can equip. As is, all but my Doctor/CM just keep a backpack in their inventory unequipped, and I only equip it in situations where I am forced to make room.

Packs are hideous with many outfits. I'd like to have some sort of smaller pack/handbag too, but for the time being I'd be thrilled with a "visible/invisible" option added to the radial menu of the backpack.

Oh i hear you. Backpacks are just plain ugly. All of them. I have to tolerate the Spec Ops one, but even that one....

I try to wear one as less as possible. People look so much better without one...

Ever been to a party, where 90%of the people still wore theirbackpack? /shakeshead

My sad and pathetic work around for parties is to drop a small round naboo near the party site and dropthe pack in there LOL. I also use droids heavy too. (go fig) I agree though some new packs / bags / purses would be nice

Cheer! Cheer!

I despise backpacks. I'm an entertainer, and it just looks SOOOOOOOO bad to entertain with a backpack on. I have a Spec-Ops that i keep clothes in (a large portion of my inventory) to equip in emergencies when I need more inventory space (my inventory with no backpack equipped usually floats around 56 of 60). I also have 5 droids, all with 10-item storage, and all of them are full. I would very much like a better solution to inventory management that doesn't involve wearing some ugly backpack!

See, I feel sorry for you entertainers. I hate to see someone in the cantina dancing awayand realize when they turn around that they have on this bulky, brown, backpack. I could see if maybe they had one that could match their clothing color or something.

Fleshwrap + Backpack = (SOE won't let me put in what I really think)

Could you imagine having a chance to custom color a pack???? Now that would look awsome. A red pack with red armor? Black pack with formal wear. I might actually be able to wear my formal dress and not look like a military reject.

I was just thinking about this yesterday! Packs would be tolerable with formal wear if we could color them. That can't be too hard of a change for the devs to manage, could it?

*snicker* Yeah, you'd think that…but then, you'd think we'd be able to see necklaces when we craft them.

I'll just go hide amongst my hotpants...
