How much do these normally go for? I have about 10 or so of them.

Look in your Galaxy's trade forum to get an idea. It's different for each, I've heard some go for upto 50k a piece but on Chimaera it's more like 20k per piece. Also depends how many identical serial numbered ones you have.

Hi Tailors, I recently got a ton of the Portions of Heavy Duty Leather... about 40 pieces or so. I've heard you need at least 6 of the same serialto be useful. Can any less be used? I have 3 sets of 5, 1 set of 4 and 3, 3 sets of 2 and many singles.
If they can't be used with less than 6, I'll just destroy them. Thanks for any info

Actually just 1 on its own can be useful. The reason that 6 (or 8, or 10) with the same serial is useful is that the Crafter's Aprons take 2 identical pieces, and therefore if you've got 6, you can make a schematic with the first 2, and make a factory crate of 2 aprons with the remaining 4. This saves a use of the schematic (crafter's aprons are a limited-use schematic, you can only use them 3 times).
However, a Spec Ops Field Agent Pack only takes one piece of leather. Obviously you could also make a crate of these with multiple pieces of the same serial too, but it doesn't mean one piece is useless. Just depends on whether the tailor wants to use up one their schematic uses on making a single item, that's all...

Thanks for answering my question, Kntajus.
Is the Spec Ops Field Pack a limited use schematic as well?

Just a quick question, and I apologizing for hi-jacking the thread, but have they stopped serializing the heavy leather? I got about 7-8 pieces last night and they didn't have serial numbers on them. Am I unique or did I miss it?
Thanks.

There is an ongoing discussion that is stickied at the top of the forum. NJ I believe is also discussing this issue with the devs right now.
