Thread: i think tailors should be given a gift for the factory bug(s)

Yeah, butthey're talking more like a personal apology,such as,"We're sorry we screwed your profession up so bad for monthsand months with BE mods and factory crates, so we're going to give you something to make you feel better and to try to compensate for your losses." I would be in favor of that, although what they give would indeed be tough to say. Maybe they should just give us some love in the next publish with some new clothes or something.. if they don't have bugs (hah!). I agree, no respecs or double XP should be given at all over this, but I do think it's unfair to many tailors that wasted millions of credits on their factory runs and BE clothes, and that the devs fixed both bugs so long after they were broken (you would almost have thought they didn't care this whole time.. hmm.. ). XP would be useless, and so would a respec. A resource kit would be nice, but it would ruin the economy. lolHow manytailors would really keep them? I know I would sell mine, personally. Tailors have no use for quality resources, so a 30k resource kit wouldn't fit. That's why I'm thinking the only realistic apology is for them to give us some new content of some kind or fix old bugs or something along those lines.

I don't think resource kits would be appropriate, But a very nice rug would go a long way in saying I'm sorry.

This would probably be difficult / time consuming for the devs though, as they would have to decifer who was tailor and when, etc.
Not a bad idea though. I like the thought. Would cause more problems than it would solve. Not to mention all the other profs that have been screwed up and got fixed without any compensation.

Hmmm Yes I think we should be compensated, but more importantly it would be really nice if they would fix the bugs .

I believe it to be only reasonable that tailors get a few of those 30k resource vet rewards with the next publish. Many of us used our factory to make some really nice stuff, not to mention the BE items. When the factory goes poof on us, thats a huge loss. Then, when the problem is proclaimed fixed, and we try again we lose even more resources. Tailors really should be given something in the way of resources back. Some of my own factory runs with BE clothing came back with no BE augmentations present. This is unacceptable, and should be looked at. I am sure that not many will be able to agree on the exact amount given. Many will claim they made millions of BE items to pad the amount. So I would propose a set amount for all us tailors out there. Something, if not all, given back would be nice.

anything such as new clothes, would simply be an upgrade or a patch. That is not a gift for a crappy job. That is not an apology. Not to mention a gift of new clothing would not be targeted to just tailors, considering that everyone wears them. It would be a patch.
