Ok, this may be a nub question that has been answered a bagillion times. If it is, I apologize in advance and beg your tailor community forgivness.
A Trando friend of mine had found 3 tapes to make +25 pistol accuracy. He has used an undershirt and a belt for two of them but couldn't find a third garment that Trando's can wear. Then he realized that his backpack has 4 sockets, but he can't apply the tape to the pack, only put it in for storage. Is there any way to do this? Or did Sony put sockets in a backpack just to tease us?

no, backpack sockets were funny and don't work now.
p.s.: how about a bandolier?

Can you wear a bandolier and a belt?
And thanks for the info. My RL fiancee is a former long time tailor (Issogi'ka) and thought the same, but suggested I check with you guys. :-)

yes, you just can't wear a bandolier with a backpack... but if you need sockets that's a good way to go. he can also get BE tissued bandoliers for an extra boost?

yet I refuse to wear a sign that says "I'm a girl!"
better for kiddies to mistake me as a guy than to have their desperate behinds coming after me

Are there bandoliers that hold items (like a backpack)?
Yes, they are Pilot rewards I believe. Tailors cannot make them.

Even so, I wouldn't waste my money trying to buy one off of someone or, even worse, dropping whatever skills you have as a faction pilot to go neutral instead (neutral pilots get bandos, as do faction pilots who cannot wear the tier 1 reward items) ... haven't tried it myself, but I'd imagine bandoliers that function as backpacks cannot take SEAs either.
