What is the best item to make to get the most xp when you are new to the tailoring line.

ribbed shirt to field wear 2. link steel to field wear 4. cartridge belts for all else

I concur. And tell you what, in one weekend of grinding link-steel gloves & then cartridge belts, I was able to get enough tailor XP to snag Field Wear IV and Casual Wear I-III. That's exactly 1/4 of the whole Tailor tree in one weekend. Kickath!
