Off the top of my head, the only things that don't get sockets (and we have bugged this numerous times) is the Grand Ball Gown and the Ammo Bandolier (I think). Everything else has a random chance of 0-4 sockets, with 2-3 sockets being the norm.

hmmm ok ... and the chance of a socket is based off of your overal tailor skill compared to the difficulty of the item then i guess ...
items that are a diff of 10 or lower i am getting 3 to 4 .. ones that are around 18 to 21 i get no sockets ...
i am 2422 in tailoring right now...

Clothing items that are in the Domestic Arts tree get their sockets depending on how much you have in Engineering tree. Tailor items gain sockets from the Tailor Tree. Typically, you won't start to see any sockets on tailor items until you reach Tailor 3. Even at Master Tailor, socketing is still random. About 10% chance to get 4 sockets, about 25% chance for 3, about 30% for 2, 15% for 1, and 10% for 0 sockets. Current testing seems to indicate a slightly higher percentage for more sockets when wearing CA's with +assembly, but the increase is marginal.
