Do you get extra condition of you are a 12 point Tailor? IE clothing ends up with 1200 condition instead of 1000? This is how it works for some other professions, was just curious...

What does experimentation do for Tailors if anything?

Experimentation works for wookiee battle padding, and that's about it. It's really more of a novelty to be a 12 point tailor. We suspect clothing assembly tapes aid in getting 4 sockets.

It doesn't matter anyway because we have a percentage based decay (wouldn't use base decay be so much better?). Clothing decays 5% on an uninsured death and 1% for an insured death. That means that a piece of clothing will decay away in 20 uninsured or 100 insured deaths no matter if the clothes were 100/100 or 100000000/100000000. The condition number is pretty meaningless. It also means that all repairs are the same since it resets the decay timer. That is except for a total repair failure which is the *best* result because 1/1 clothing can't decay any further in a percentage based decay system.

Trying to explain to a customer that a 500 condition item and a 1000 condition item have the same number of deaths before destruction is completely futile. /sigh.

Love the spinal tap referance...

Anyways, I am still stuck just below 11 point tailoring, as it seems these mods don't exist on Flurry (Or I haven't seem them). For now, this is pretty much just to say, "Look at me, I'm 12 point!" One day, perhaps some experimentation may finally be implemented... *shrug*

We can hope.

I should put together a crafting outfit and see what I can get to. My PA buddies have been dropping various Tailor-related attachments on my vendor for a while now. I should be able to make 1 extra point by now.
