Hello!

Some things, like the wrapped skirt, seem to have two color options to them....but try as I might last night, I couldn't find an option to change the second color.

Am I wrong here, or just very unobservant?

Common question...the answer is that you should get the ability to change the second color as you gain skills. IIRC, you get it at novice tailor, but I could be wrong

Yes. I could change both colors of many items once I became a novice tailor. I believe you gain more colors as you climb the customization tree.

Okay, I want to be a Tailor too, but I can't seem to find a real fast way to getting there, any ideas? Drop me an In-Game E-mail with any suggestions, cause everything I do is way too slow, Thanks!

yeah, it's slow. grind out weapon powerups, because you only need general crafting xp to train novice tailor

HOWEVER, after that, you must make clothing or clothing compononents to earn tailor xp.
and it takes 32,000 xp per 1st tier skill.

That's more than a few smocks....

You can do some really nice things with the wrapped skirts once you're novice and get the second color.

I have no idea how to "grind" to minimax the XP, but to move up make and sell on the bazaar black jackets (any of them), black hide boots, and backpacks. I'm convinced there is nothing that won't sell if you put the color "black" in the title. Make sure to mark the jackets as black when you make them. I've added my name and I get tells looking for other things (mostly things I can't make). I took travel missions and dumped a bunch on the bazaar in each city crafting while I waited for shuttles and ran around.

I'll bet it's not the fastest way, but everyone interested in clothes has seen my name selling things and it hasn't been an exercise in frustration and boredom.

You can make black jackets? Mine are all dark grey or dark green. Only the gloves and boots come out black.

Color gripes:

When are they going to get all the wookieewear color palettes to match the colors that actually show up?

How about making the wookiee clothing and duster color choices expand, like other clothing, as you move up the 'Tailoring' tree?

Where's bright yellow?

Speaking of colors... and I know I saw this mentioned somewhere else, but I can't find it... the color palette on Wookie clothing is -seriously- messed up. To make a BLACK weighted wookie pullover, I had to select a pale pea-green color in the palette box. The preview window, the icon, and the item when worn were all BLACK, though. I just clicked and held the mouse and roved it around the boxes, watching the preview window until I saw the color I wanted. Took a bit longer than the usual method (click the black box) but it got done.

I know that we get more and better colors as we advance, and "pure black" is apparently farther up the tree than Novice Tailor, because all my "black" clothes only look black in dim lighting. Throw some light on and they are just dark green-gray or blue-gray, etc.... and white's hard to tell for sure, too. I think I'm choosing white, it comes out a light light pale BLUE. Almost white, but still noticably blue.
