I was thinking of some type of terminal you could put in your shop, or maybe even on your droid. The person could pull up the terminal (which would only show the clothing and colors you have the skills to make) and choose their clothing and color. Iget very frustrated with peopleorderingspecific colors and then expecting their money back when they don't like the color they ordered.
Maybe we can craft adye tub with 1-2 uses tosell to our customers? The dyes availabeto the buyerare dependant ofTailoring skill of the tailor, so there would be different qualities of tubs. A Master created tub would have the widest variety of colors. This way we stillprofit from people who wantto changetheir look withoutchanging the clothing they're wearing.
I think the idea of a window is a good one, if it's reasonably easily done.
But bumping a thread to rub the devs noses in it isn't an effective way to get something done.
By no means is it meant to harass the development or support teams, it is only a way to express support for the idea.

Great, because it isn't getting much support right now and I'm keeping it bumped myself.
You have a great idea, but please don't post nothing but*bump* repeatedly in a thread! That's the fastest way to annoy anyone who's not especially interested in our issues, but just reading the thread for curiosity. SWG discussion is one of the faster moving sections of the board, and very few threads make it beyond a few posts. If folks want to discuss and support your idea they will. But repeated bumping will just alienate the non-tailors (not to mention the mods!).
I know when I'm reading a post about a profession I'm not that interested in as soon as I see bump posts with no new information I stop reading and just ignore the thread.
