I was just thinking about when I hitMaster Tailor, and how I wished I had been a bit more prepared for what I would need, so I thought I would post a little friendly note for anyone who is almost there!

When you hit Master Tailor you will want to sit down and try some of these cool things you can make...the flightsuits, fleshwraps, grand healers robes, neato Twilek headdresses, etc. Just a warning: these all take very large quantities of Factory Made components! Not just synthetic cloth (and we are talking 4-9 pieces per item here), but reinforced fiber panels, jewlery settings, trim, and metal fasteners---all factory made.

If I was going to say 'have this ready when you hit MT', I would make the following list...I hope some of you find it helpful and that it leaves you better prepared than I was. I had to wait almost 2 days before I could make MT items since I kept finding ingredients I did not have

6 crates of synthetic cloth

2 crates of reinforced fiberplast panels

2 crates of jewerly settings

2 crates of trim

1 crate of metal fastners

steel

copper (metal bikinis and stuff take 50 copper a pop)

Green Diamond Crystalline Gemstone (for the Twilek headdress)

amorphous and plexite gemstones (same, and also for jewelry)

Hides, especially Wooly (many items take this specifically)

lots and lots and LOTs of Polymer...I would say 2-3k just to play with.

If you have this ready for your big day, you will be able to make a bit of everything and get to see how it looks!

A very informative post. Just another heads up, all flightsuits in master tailor require: 80 polymer, 6 identical synthetic cloth, 3 identical metal fastners, 2 reinforced fiberplast panels. Synthetic cloth is a definite must. Whenever I log in (which isn't much nowadays) I always put in a load of synth cloth schematics into the factories and let them run.

And toss in a bit of iron on that list to make the Master Jewelry

Would just like to add that any Tailors that want to run a popular shop, you are going to NEED 2 factories unless you have a huge stockpile built up. I eat through factory components like you wouldn't believe. Synth cloth is by and far THE most important to have. If you want to start selling as soon as you Master, I would reccomend at least 10 crates of synth cloth, 3 crates of Metal fastners, 2 crates of trim, 2 crates of reinforced fiber, 2 crates of jewellry settings. Believe me though, it will not last long, and that second factory will really help you stay on top of orders.

I could not agree with the two factory comment much more then I am now. Even with two if I get a rush I seem to fall behind on components sometimes. Synth

Synth Cloth is the biggie. You'll be flying thru that stuff like crazy.
