Thread: Major Crafting Bugs! What the...?
Okay, anyone else experiencing ridiculous bugs right now?? Here's the following that's I've encountered several of with this latest patch:
I'm trying to become a Master Tailor, just started, and one of the items (Sleeveless Dress)has a complexity level of 24, I crafted it with an "Amazing Success" then I Experimented with an "Amazing Success" as well which made it a Complexity Level of 26... Then I went into the Prototype creation... checked Practice (Extra 5% right?) and created it! My TOTAL XP for that great creation was roughly 75 XP. Is that a little... I don't know... short?
ALSO! I've experienced that a bug has arisen that when you put items into the crafting device, and then back out (IE Forgot to create one more of the needed items, back out to create that instead) it will "eat" the items you were putting up and not replace them even though they weren't used! AAarrrrggghh... *sigh* anywho... anyone else getting problems like these? (Yes, I /bug'ed them.) Thanks. (Sorry if this isn't in the right posting area.)
Experimenting on clothes does not affect the exp at all or anything else as far as I know. You will get the same exp no matter what, except when using practice. If you think 75 is bad for Novice Tailor item, wait til you do some items in the higher tiers and get the same or less.
On the resources poofing, that is your fault. Do NOT hit back or they will go. Manually remove them by dragging them back out, just like you would if didn't have enough of one kind of resource and needed to use a different one. As far as the game is concerned, once you load them in, they are used unless you load them back out. That is why you see the msg the server is analysing the item.
It seems that without self use xp, you dont get any xp for the components used, only raw resources. In the case of the sleeveless dress you are using only 30 raw resources for 75 XP. I guess the excuse is that you got xp already for making those 3 synth and metal fasteners, you're still getting over 2 xp for each resource unit in the end. Thus the only things that give decent xp at the final assemble are the ones that dont use components, such as ribbed shirts, glovesand cartridge belts.
At higher levels you dont even get xp for the components, since they have to be factory made. 10% hardly counts.
