That is why I changed my default forum settings to view 1-stars. So I never even notice now if posts are 1-starred.

I turned my star rating off completly. The rating system is generaly worthless anyway.

Comment and a question:

This happened on ID forums today too.... suspect it was a childish jerk with nothing better to do than grief.

How do you turn off star ratings?.. havent found it after looking a bit.

Under your profile there is a section about the ratings system and wether you want to keep it enabled or not.

Yeah, for the longest time, I didn't know what the "stars" everyone was talking about were. Now that I do, I'm almost embarrassed to take part in a message board with something that lame. Yeah, that's right, I'm proud to be on a message board having to do with my MMORPG but the star system pushed me over the edge.

I've since ignored them.
