Thread: As I grind my fingers to the bone..
Can anyone give me some things that give the best exp as I grind my way to master tailor? I've been doing nothing but ribbed shirts.. over.. and over... I'm currently 0-1-3-0 so any help would be great ![]()
Thanks in advance.
ribbed shirts, then some sort of gloves (i dunno, I've heard but dindn't use gloves for grinding myself). And then cartridge belts, and ... another type of belt. heh I've forgotten what they were called exactly.
Anyways there's two different belts at field wear 4, one takes iron and... fiberplast I think, the other takes steel and fiberplast (I think). Both of em are good for grinding, just use whichever one is easier (depending on if you have steel or iron available).
Not much better then ribbed shirts, but a little bit.
There is a definite trade-off in terms of advancement strategy I believe in tailoring. For those that are trying to "fast track" to master, I guess the ribbed shirts-> cartridge belts strategy is best. However, I think the real tradeoff is that every tailor does this, so good luck selling your fieldwear 1-4 items along the way. The bazars on my server are stuffed with them, so making money along the way is likely to be challenging. Also, since the majority of fieldwear items are boots, packs, gloves, etc. you will be unable to make "outfits" for the most part.
Call me crazy, but unless you're a "master-in-a-day" type, I think the payoff may be much better going up through formalwear (like you've done) or casualwear (like I did)before getting to fieldwear.
Yeah I've noticed that as well, I'm happy with the way I am going, just was wondering if anything but ribbed shirts gave more experience.. seeing as I don't have field wear II and that is the last route I want to go right now..
Thanks for your help again! ![]()
