It says it needs a genaric crafting tool. I used it, the option never comes up no matter what tool/station combo I use. Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks, but it is kinda stupid that I had to use a weapon, droid, general tool. Armor and clothing didn't work, nethier did genaric. Oh well. It's all good now.

It depends on what kind of crafting station you are next to. You always need to use the corresponding tool. So, a Weapon, Droid, and Generic item tool when next to one of those stations, and a clothing tool when next to a clothing station.

I was doing it in my basement where I have all 4 types of crafting stations.
