Thread: question on tailor grinding

ok, so i know to make ribbed shirts from novice until field wear IV

i just hit novice tailor, and i dont see any ribbed shirts when i bring up the crafting tool


i seea shortsleeve shirt, is that the same thing? but i also thought the costed metal and fiberplast, but the shirt costs fiberplast and polymer


can someone (without flaming-it happens to mea lot on these boards :smileysad please straighten this out for me?

Nope. It's literally called a ribbed shirt.


Your problem may be that you're using a generic crafting tool. Get yourself a clothing tool and try again.

o damn...sorry everybody, my message was not showing up as posted, so i got frusterated and posted several times...after a few minutes they all appeared lol

anyway, thanks magdalene, im sure thats the problem


now where can i get a clothing crafting tool?

Engineering 1 allows you to make them, so make your own or hunt on the bazaar.

Just search on the bazaar, people usually sell them there. You might be able to make one (I can't remember what line you need skill in to make them). If so, it can be made with the generic crafting tool.

Try using a clothing and armor crafting tool instead of a generic, and the ribbed shirts should appear. The shortsleeve shirt is an artisan item and will give you artisan xp, not tailoring xp.

I'd suggest cloaks at casual 3. Double the xp, but your going to need junk hide.
