For the past few days, I've been having a problem with two (I've only noticed these two so far) items. The Casual Jacket and Labor Jacket are not visible during any part of my crafting process. I thought the problem might have ended there so I crafted one of each to see if it would show up in my inventory. No such luck. I even tried to equip it, to see if it would finally become visible, but it just made the parts of my body that it covered invisible too. I wrote a customer service ticket about it, and they referred me to the technical support forums. But, before I posted there, I wanted to address this problem with fellow tailors to see if you all were experiencing it as well or if it's some problem with my computer's graphics (mind you, I never had this problem until one of the more recent patches hit). Thanks for any and all advice in advance. I know I've never posted here before, kinda been the silent watcher, but I'm glad to be part of such a great tailoring community.

Weird! I'm at a dinner party tonight so may not be logging on - anyone want to test this?

I didn't test this fully...but the casual jacket and labor jacket were both visible in my crafting screens, though I did not go ahead and make them due to one of my computer's random restarts.

I've seen this problem before intermittently. A '/flushgraphics fullreset' fixed it for me.

I've seen this too. Lots of invisible things and issues because the graphics get confused somehow, and won't load new data because it thinks there is no room to be able to. If you get serious lag around a starport, or you are in a house and can't see items, get the starfield instead of walls, etc... the /flushgraphics fullreset will fix things too. Usually.

Bigger ram would really help too. I would recommend going with a 512meg chip. The price difference won't be that great, and you will see a difference going from 256 -> 512 -> 768 megs. Past that, you get diminishing returns.

I am running 768 and it looks really nice. I definitely noticed a difference up from 256.

I've also noticed that my crafting tool boots, but the pix aren't loaded right away. When the Ith clothing first came to beta, my crafting tool would freeze my computer for almost a minute on initial boot. Now it seems as if it boots quicker, so that my computer doesn't freeze for very long, but then it takes a little while for the schematic pictures to appear.

Interesting that you made the comment about having problems seeing walls too Jame'thiel. I've also been having the issue where some buildings are transparent except for their walkways, but that problem started happening before the clothing bug. I do get serious lag around starports as well, and as N'Jessi mentioned my crafting tool too has been slower than usual to load since the new Ithorian clothing has been added. I know that my computer is definately "under-rated" now that JTL is out. I was squeezing it by okay before with 256MB of RAM, but I think they recommend 512 for JTL. Maybe that's where I'm having my problem. I was just hoping that I could survive with what I have until after the holiday season. Eh, maybe that's something to add to my wish list.
Thanks for the help guys. I think I'm gonna try that /flushgraphics fullreset like you all suggested tonight when I get home and see if that does the trick.
