Ok I heard from a tailor that you can't have combat BE tissues in hats (melee def and such), but what exactly are the combat tissues? I would like to get a hat witheithercombat bleeding def, melee and stun def, or +intimidation.

Combat tissues (from a customer point of view) are:
bleeding resistance
warcry/intimadation
camouflage/mask scent
cover
melee/stun defense

Non-combat tissues are:
injury/wound treatment
dance/music wound healing
taming wild/vicious creatures

The headgear that can take BE tissues (sunguards for example) can only take the non-combat tissues.

This is the one question that ends up taking up lots of time in game. Fortunately, I have a list of items that can break this down. I copied it from somewhere and could never find the link again to see if it was updated. This list is somewhat incomplete, as all of the new clothes from a few weeks ago are not on this list & the categories are not up to date with the change - however, it will be able to give you a good idea what can and can't be done and why. Someday I may get the motivation to update it myself to check for errors and add the missing items...it just gets soooo busy!

(thanks to whoever originally made this list!)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

First there are several types of Tissue, some that are added to synth cloth and some that are used in reinforced fiberplast panels, all Tissues can only ever go in ONE or the OTHER, so to obtain specific BE enhancements you need to use clothing that is constructed using one or the other of those sub components. First I will list those tissues and what type they are.

Synth Cloth Tissues:
• Enhanced Myoflex (gives musician/dancer healing skill)
• Active Biosensors (gives wound/injury treatment)
• Active Tranquilizers (gives taming wild/vicious creatures)

Reinforced Fiberplast Tissues:
• Coagulant Agents (gives bleeding defense)
• Fear Release (gives warcry/intimidation bonus)
• Scent Neutralization (gives camouflage/maskscent bonus)
• Mimetic Circuitry (gives cover bonus)
• Tensile Resistance (gives melee/stun defense bonus)

Now the types of clothing themselves, and the amount of Synth cloths/Reinforced they need. Ones that are indicated to give a double bonus are the only ones that can do so, which means they can have 2 of the same type stacked, also note this is only currently working with synth cloth. --- maximum on 2 of the same type stacking is +25 bonus, so 2 x +16's will still only be +25 when stacked in the same item of clothing.
