Thanks so much for the information.....Ok, I wont use the plus one. I do have a +5 melee attack thing...something like that.....Hmmm....I think I'll go and buy new clothes before I use it.
Appreciate the info.

Howdy all
I went through many of the posts here and didnt quite find the answer to my question.
Ive never used a clothing attachment before since being a masterpolitician and master arch never really warranted it (ok, didnt really see the need). However, ive dropped those profession to try rifles and swordsman. I looked at all the clothes I have and only a pair of gloves have sockets. However the condition is 0. If I was to put this +1 speed attachment in the gloves would it still work? I do know eventually decay will be put into the game on clothes in which it should be already..
Until I find new clothes I was just wondering if it will work....Thanks in advance

It'll work until (in theory) patch 10, at which point you'll no longer be able to wear it. But, a +1 to speed equates to a 1% reduction in weapon speed, or a 0.054 reduction for your average powerhammer when used on autoattack—in other words, you won't even notice the difference.

Umm... it really depends on what you are doing. Yes, there are some people who are eternally buffed and live in their armor, but some people want to be a little more stylish than that. Looking at everyone in their black or red composite gets kind of boring. If you are not doing PvP, then there is not much reason to wear armor outside of hunting. Anyway, its probably not a great idea to come to the tailor forum and tell someone to buy a cheap undershirt and then go find an armorsmith.
