This may be more of a rant than anything else but here's a couple things I can't find answers to. Why do some of my schematics disappear from my crafting tool? I have a novice tailor on Wanderhome and I was just crafting away at some stuff and had a request for a Tech Pack. I said okay and went to make the item for my customer and it was gone... the only pack I could make according to the list was the Travel Pack. So I checked my skill tree and according to what I had I should have been able to make the Tech Pack. No Clue why that happened. I didn't have access to it until I logged out and logged back in and by that time my customer was gone. Completely sucked.
Also, what's the deal with the merchant profession in connection with the tailor (or other artisan) professions?When I first started playing there was a surveyor profession that was eliminated later because it was basically useless and simply distributed throughout the elite professions of the artisan tree. Why can't merchant do the same thing?Every artisan needs it and almost all of them take up to Business 4 to master the artisan profession. The only thing you do to get merchant xp is sell stuff on a vendor or the baazar, which anyone can do artisan or not. Yet we have to spend precious skill points and credits to get trained in something we should be able to do as we progress in our profession. If we don't have to actually do anything but sell our wares (which we do anyway) to get the xp we shouldn't have to spend skill points and credits to get merchant abilities.
In connection with any artisan profession can anyone tell me if there is a better way to advertise than afk spamming outside of starports, putting a cdef pistol on auction at 6K on the baazar or any of the other silly stuff I have done in an attempt to get business?

Some schematics require you to be near a crafting station in order to produce them. Others require a private crafting station (one in a droid or a player home.) That would be why you couldn't find the tech pack in your crafting tool. Be sure to check the schematic in your data pad and note whether it requires a crafting station/specialized tool.
