Thread: Crafted some vests last night for the first time...

And realized why i have never made them before. The only one that looks halfway decent has a graphical clipping issue similar to what was going on with ubese armor and the color pallette for it is horred as well. I think its the Simple Vest? All others just looked horribly stupid.
ugh, i'm disgusted by this. The pull over looks cool untill you put it on and then... ugh *shudder*

I'm a big fan of the short vest and wear it often. I am female and there are no clipping problems for me. I know that "shape" and what not are factors. But I'm lucky. I think the decorative vest is also great, but only on males. Too big for women. I don't like any of the other vests, but the scout vest. THAT vest rocks and looks great on everyone! I want one in black for my "urban assault" outfit! (yes, black, don't hurt me....but its essentially a tactical looking vest) uniform boots, paramilitary camos, sports wrap, and scout vest would make the perfect addition. I've never tested it, but I would hope that the front flap of the sports wrap tucks in with any vest...not just the mangy vest. Anyone else know if this is true? I can test it easily enough, I suppose....lol but I will forget.

Me too. I'm having a problem with whatever is under the pullover showing through in the back. Anyone else notice that?

Everyone has their thing I guess. I actually like most of the vests. For fun I even made a couple crested vets and actually sold them on the Bazaar!!! They can (believe it or not) look good with the right complimentary things and colors.
I would even like the mangy vest is they fixed the shading on it. I think it makes a good flight/pilot vest.

I've always thought the simple vest was the ugliest thing in game, then i tried to make a Han Solo outfit (Thin Stripped Slacks (blue/red strip), Long Sleeve Shirt (White), Uniform Boots (Black), and a Simple Vest (Black), while the vest looked blah-greyish in the window, once i put the whole outfit on it looked pretty good. So i made similar outfits in various color combos and put them up on the bazaar just for fun, sold every one. Can't keep the simple vest stocked on the bazaar, sell them all out every time I place some. Can't figure this one out to save my life, but glad to sell some other items than just the decorative vest w/ two-tone skirt.

Pullover with infiltrator leggings and boots looks pretty cute too.
Have to be careful on the coloring tho - 4 colors on the pullover seems a bit much
Belted vest with flared cuff shirt, pantaloons and standard boots is an Amidala looking outfit.
Also saw a TKA with a white belted vest and white pantaloons and sandals the other day - was a NICE change from the black decorative vest and thin pleated skirt I usually see.
