Thread: Eclipse's Newest Master Tailor
Yeah, i made the mistake of setting up my shop just outside coronet. I spend a lot of time at my second shop, or playing at odd hours. I've found if you don't stock your vendor too full, you can actually do other stuff. and run really fast through coronet.
Here's a nice little tailor story for your day...
Yesterday my husband and i decided to get master id on our alt char, so i logged in on the alt. He's a mon cal, which is impossible to id until you get up a few levels (no hair or lips!!!), so he logged in on my tailor. He's sitting there, clicking away for 2 1/2 straight hours, when he turns to me and says 'how do you play with all these people bugging you all the time?'![]()
Maybe now he understands why i am usually a little slow when it comes to combat. I even get tells on dathomir and dantooine from new customers. ![]()
I could use a little infusion of new customers.
I started traveling more (shopping!!) and tried out the Jabba themepark last week (finally got a computer able to handle the travel to cities and other congested areas). and in all that bouncing about, never once got a tell to make someone something. It is rare that I do not have my tag up.
I am glad to hear other tailors on Eclipse are not having the quiet times I am, I was worrying that tailors were either becoming too common, or no one wanted new clothes anymore.
It does seem to be a little quieter lately, but i have a lot of repeat customers, and great prices, so I'm never lacking for credits. and it never fails, i sit down by my factory to grind some more armorsmith xp, and i get 3 tells for custom orders, within 10 minutes of starting.
Instead of trying to find customers, just decide to do something else, and i'm sure they will start sending you the "hi" tells. ![]()
Or come drop a vendor in one of my shops, stock it more than once a month, and you will have lots of business. ![]()
