I don't know that this is a great idea. Tailors have historically not wanted to be involved in armor making. However, it would be nice if you could get the protection of composite without looking like you're wearing composite. What I tend to do though is only switch to my armor when I absolutely have to, so that the majority of the time, when I'm fighting, I'm wearing my normal clothes.

I forget exactly who it was that suggested it (Tekoa?) but I'm still a huge fan of composite having a drop-down to select varaition styles, allowing 'smiths to make ST/Marine armor that's actually composite. Give the game a more Star Warsy look/feel without nerfing the protection players have come to rely upon…although I think they're going to do that anyway. Oh well, such is life.
As for an armored Jedi cloak…bleah! If you're wearing armor it should look like armor.

you say changing the style of composite armor would give the game a more "star wars" feel but you still want jedi to wear armor?... how many times have you seen Luke wear a set of armor?.. never jedi don't wear armor but jedi still need protection so to give the game a more "star wars" feel then i think that jedi should get "jedi robes" that give them armor protection that way they actually look like jedi instead of composite clones with lightsabers.
