Okay... it's getting to be about that time. I made all my reservations... and I'm so dumb, because I got a hotel even though I live in LA but I'll be damned if everyone else is having fun and I have to leave early to drive 45 minutes home. Yeah so, thank you IRS for the tax refund, that enables me to luxuriate in my very own room, ahhhh.


So who is going? Do y'all want to get together? My thought is that the tailoring panel is fairly early in the weekend, and maybe they'll let me out of my cage to wave to all of you (the role of n'Jessi is a non-speaking part, I think).


Please, though, say you're coming, great, but keep the personal information to a minimum. Remember, everyone and their dog can read the boards, not justsubscribers. Do not post phone numbers, screenies, e-mail addresses. Stalkers are NOT COOL. If you want to communicate with each other through PM's for coordinating purposes, that's fine, provided you behave appropriately toward each other (we're not allowed to be stalkers either).

Are any tailors going to be doing the costume contest?

I don't think I'll have much time to really put together anything special, but I'm thinking black trenchcoat and a belt made out of a hula hoop...

And plus, I think that I would have to have a parent or garudian there or somthing, and both my parents don't understand Star Wars (they think it's a "kiddie" phase *rolles eyes*).

I'm going and so is my wife who just made master tailor. Her Ingame name is Dasari Nite (Gorath). One of you grab her and teach her something please........


As a rifleman I'm wasting vaubale killing time trying to train her lol !

silly jessi, you know i'm going Tiaga's going too... too bad i don't have time to find a costume. don't worry about what to wear... Vandessa reminded me that most of the people going are geeks, anything decent would impress them

I wish I could go, but we are saving up for CIII. I'll possibly be a night sister there. Or one of jabba's dancers. just depends on if i get my but motivated to make more than 1 costume.


On a side note, i have a friend who did the luxurious gown in black (from the movie, not the game, sillies), she did a GREAT job.

I will be there, too, along with my Image Designer/Rifleman/Politician friend Renea. So that's one more Master Tailor in the mix.


Haven't had time to do much for a costume Renea has a Jedi one, but I've got nothing at this point. With a week to go before I leave I doubt I'll have time to sew one up. That's always the way, isn't it? It should be a great blast, though.
