/Wave, my 3rd slot is tailor/jedi....
I'm also testing armorsmith/jedi. No idea if the crafting trees are worth anything, because none of it applies to non-lightsaber crafting. Also, it's your main that becomes force sensitive, no more second slots. You also don't get fresh skillpoints for any of this at git go.

They changed it again!? I thought that once you became force sensitive, you opened another slot which is a non force sensitive character.
I just made a tailor/jedi a few minutes ago and it was kind of fun being the only one around without a jedi title on duelling people. Anyway, I am kind of limited right now becauseI don't have crates of factory materials to play with. Anyway, what I discovered so far is that 1) if you are an artisan and survey, the extra survey range is really nice! 2) I only had one critical failure, but it was on a lightsaber. I got all of my materials back and I am not sure if this is a lightsaber only thing, or if it is a force sensitive construction bonus. I took all of the force sensitive artisan trees. 3) No new colors. I didn't expect any new colors, but I wanted to confirm that. and 4) The force seems to have no effect on tailor assembly and it certainly has no effect on sockets.
no affect on sockets??? oh come on!! LOL (j/k)
About the receiving of materials back. It was announced a bit back that jedi's would receive that bonus due to the uber krayt pearl andcrystal prices and stuff. I can't remember when so I can't point you to the thread but I would suspect it is a Jedi only thing and not actually a FS thing.
Hope you guys are having fun!! **CHEERS for the TAILORING JEDI!!** ![]()

Actually as I understand it this is how it works. When Publish 10 comes out your main becomes force sensitive. You do quests to gain exp and when you complete 24 force sensitive skill boxes you open up the jedi class AND a second character slot on that server. Now, that second slot has all the potential to become jedi that your main slot did. But he must redo the force sensitive quests and again complete 24 force sensitive skill boxes to open the jedi class. So, in effect, you could have two jedi characters on a server, two non-jedi characters on a server, or one of each. It's up to you. That's how I took the information found in the Jedi archives. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

I'll continue testing, particularly to see if the experimentation box actually increases my experimentation, as it would by skill tape. Here, I think, it would greatly benefit the crafter who wishes to do the quests - but at the same time make it such that non-fs characters cannot compete.
Well, at least for artisans it doesn't give any extra points. I am a master artisan and I still get 11 just like I do normally. I also get no assembly bonus or bonus for experimentation success either. I don't think any of the jedi artisan stuff is working at all except for the survey bonus.

However, regrettably, first order of business on TC2 is to retrieve the 50 pairs of red hawtpants out of factory 1, 50 pairs of purple hawtpants out of factory 2, and start on 50 pairs of blue hawtpants (no, really, this was not my idea).
I sure hope they get it all sorted before they get it all out to live, at least most of it. I am kind of fearful that they will put all of their emphases on the combat side of the Jedi. I am greatful for the hours and patients being put in by those of you who are testing what affects the artisanFS will have. To hear that the jedi artisan stuff may not be working at all, other than a survey bonus is most disheartening. How can you test it if it doesn't work?

I wouldn't worry just yet about bugs. Living on TC... well let's just say that most of the patches that come in are just a horror, breaking this or that pretty regularly. For example, vendors have been "borked" for almost a week now. One update broke radar completely (at which point we played a rousing game of hide-and-seek). So yeah, I'm testing now, and I'll continue to test, but pleaaaase take reports from TC with a grain of salt? Everything is broken at first.
I agree! The stuff on testcenter is a work in progress and definitely will change! Some sort of documentation of how it is supposed to work would be nice, though. I know what is supposed to happen if I swing a lightsaber, but I have no idea of what a force bonus to repair is supposed to do. Is that supposed to help in repairing everything, or just lightsabers, or what? All we can do is report what is happening (no bug reports) and know that the next day it might work completely differently.
