So, I just learned a Crafter's Apron schematic, and, yay, the Tailor apron... Now, as kind of a newbie tailor, I was wondering... Is this worth anything at all? It doesn't really seem like it right now.

I don't know if it's worth it or not. The other day I was crafting clothes with my apron on. I still got some critical failures. I am thinking it probably prevented me from one or two critical failures that I don't know of?

I have a Limited Use Schematic for Tailor Crafting Apron...at least I think its for tailors. It has +5 to Clothing Assembly and (I think) Experimentation. I have seen no difference when wearing one, so what are they good for?

well, if you get another +5 in clothing experimentation, you would get another point to play around with in experimenting on wookiee pillows. Other than that, not much.

Seems like awaste then. On my sever you never see any good skill attachments and if you do they are for 20million credits LOL Its kind of deceiving because not alot of people know this information. I think I will stop selling them because most people can't afford or can't find any +5 skill attachments in their chosen profession. And as you stated, you can't experiment on clothes anyway. Seems like these are just about as good as those negative skill modifier tapes.

You can always get five +1 tapes and spread them out through some "crafting" clothes. I do that and it works fine. But don;t try and stack, not sure that works correctly
