It's because the Devs are jealous of wookies...

Nah, they said it's an art and modeling problem, wookies have different body shapes so items made to fit basic humanoids won't fit wookies without some custom tweakery. I'm sure they said they would fix it sometime but there's been nothing since then.

Ok, I've heard all the BS excuses why wookiees can't and havn't been able to wear real armor.

I just want to know why wooks cannot wear crafting aprons???

So basically we cant be good combat OR crafting?

Without million upon millions worth of SEA's? Even then,we lack the Sockets in our clothing/armor to compete with a Non-wook.

I don't get it, really Idon't...

Ok, I might have been imagining this but... I could've sworn I saw a female Wookiee wearing a chef's apron... not the Crafter's Apron, but a regular chef's apron... how is this possible?

Wookiees can wear the new chef perma-schem items, not the crafter's aprons.

This was asked at fanfest (doh! one of the many things I forgot to put in my reports). They basically just said there was no reason, it was just a screw-up, and one they hoped to correct.

Thanks for the replies. Pretty much what I figured...

The sad part isI posted this same post in the Technical Support forums and instead of the dev ANSWERING it they merely stated that I should post here.

Is there a dev that monitors the tailor forum?
