Ok, I've seen two npcs with hooded cloaks. One was a Trade Federation member which I murdered but didn't get to loot it. The other was an npc in Anchorhead.

These are not wookies and wookie hoods.

These are cloaks with hoods on them pulled up over the character's head.

Any master tailors around? Can you guys make these? Or is it drop-only? Or can we NOT get them at all?

As far as I know you can't get them at all. We can't make them with the hood up and I've never heard of a hood up version dropping. Only the lucky few NPCs get it.

during the last week of beta testing there was a jedi quest, where us PC players had to give a Jedi (player by SOE employees) a curtain list of items. Those jedi wore cloaks that had hoods that could go up and down.

Hmmm, never heard that before.

But from that I'd guess that hooded cloaks are a Jedi-only item. A way of trying to prevent everyone looking like a Jedi ingame perhaps. Sort of the lightsaber of clothing.

if that is true.... i'd have to say that this is pretty dumb.There are people other thanjedis wear robes in star wars. I guess we shall have to wait for the expansion to see if the devs smarten up and bring new clothes into the game. heck, if we must.... just rush all the jedi NPCs in the game... take their beloved jedi robes and give them bikinis to wear.....

I've seen several bothan NPC's with the hood-up cloaks while running missions... there's got to be something we're missing, somewhere. Unfortunately, I'm several skill boxes away from making any of the cloaks. so I can't play with them... yet.

I'm really hoping Hooded cloaks will be added to the game.

U never heard of that contest? U won a small house if u gave the jedi 3 of the items on the list. I remember one of the items was a fish. U saw people fishing all over all of a sudden They gave out 1 house per day for like a week on each server. A notice even would pop up on the screen saying something like"A jedi is outside a cantina" or things like that when the devs was on as the jedi

I'm not a Tailor, just browsing around here.

I recently bought a Grand Healer's Robe which included a hood. My character is not a wookie. This robe looks incredibly cool... the one my chara wears now is black with white rimming (typical, ne? ) and looks very dark Jedi-ish.

Somehow I knew this was coming.

Of course I heard of the contest. Was giving out "Jedi Bracelets" left and right and had my pile of 100 crystaline gemstone ready. Never even got a clue as to where a Jedi might be (so much for their supposed 'timezone friendliness' in the contest) but ah well... don't want a small house anyway.

WhatImeant was that I hadn't heard yet that they were wearing robes with hoods that could be put up or down. Never even heard of clothes with some sort of state-change.

Of course it could just have been two robes, looking identical in every way except one had the hood up and one down. Now that would be a nice customization addition to tailoring items... let the tailor decide if they want to make a schematic one way (hood up) or another (hood down).

Ah well, I like the hairstyle my master ID friend gave me so I don't want a hood up anyway.

A warining for all of you looking for these items on the bazaar. I checked the bazaar last night to find a pair of gloves and saw this item. I looked at the item before i just blindly clicked buy and saw that it was a pair of pants someone had named hooded cloak. A word to the wise, always look at what you are about to buy before you click purchase.
