I have noticed that on the synthetic cloth and reinforced fiber panel there is an "option" for biological component. And my noob questions are:

What is this?

What does it do/is it important for quality or enhancements?

Where do I get it?

Bioengineers make 'em, things like Myoflex Cloth, Passive Biosensors and Constrictor Cloth. They add bonuses to the finished garment, such as skill mods for dancing or healing or bleed resistance. The bonuses are of dubious value at the moment, with some evidence that they do nothing, but hopefully that will be patched in the near future.

Can someone please explain to me how the whole Biological component thing in the Synthetic Cloth works? I know it's optional, and I don't need it. But I just became a Novice Tailor and I want to be able to work it ALL. If someone could tell me how this whole thing works, it would be great. Thanks for your time.

I had a BE give me some constrictor cloth that adds +3 bleed defense, still have not been able to find a use for it.

There are two types of BE bonuses.

Medic, entertainer and creature handler (if and when we can find milk) go into synth cloth.

All the combat bonus types - which bleed is one, go into reinforced cloth.

To taming - and we only found out about that from posts from the devs on what was upcoming and what was being cut.

We've always had two recipes that took milk - but no one to my knowledge had ever been able to gather up enough pieces to make the stuff to find out what it did. It was rather a process of elimination.

Taming - vicious and wild....I think, someone on test will have to confirm that - they are also supposed to have added what they do on the descriptions on test.
