Great! I was halfway to Formal Wear III tonight, when all of my tools stopped working. "Failed to start up crafting session" or something. I tried relogging, and I reported it... but I want to know if there's anything else I can do for it tonight.

I have gotten this before, I had to exit the game entirely and restart it to get them to work.

Hmmm ... this used to be real common in beta but really havent seen since release.

To fix it in beta, you would need to move the crafting kit to your backpack (or bank storage) and then pull it back out. THat would fix the server database synch issues.

Not sure if that is what you are experiencing though

try typing /stopcrafting

that just might do the trick

This happens all the time and to fix it I just pull out my pistol, and fire at something and it resets the crafting tools. This always works.

Sorry I didn't get to thank you guys sooner. I wanted to say thank you to all of you for your help I fixed it, using a combination of everything you all said. Thanks!

The other way to fix this is to exit completely. At the sign in screen there is a SCAN option at the bottom. Sign in then instead of hitting play hit SCAN and it will clear out any glitches. Has worked for me on a number of things from crafting tools not working to missing items.
