First off, I am not a tailor, I never have been, never will be. But, there are a few things I believe would make the tailor profession more rewarding for players AND tailors.
1. Give Clothing low damage resists. Having a layer of cloth between me and a blaster bolt has got to be better than nothing at all. To compensate for this, increase the effectiveness of the lower end armors (Mabari, Padded, and that other one). Have the maximum effectiveness to be added to clothing be 15-20%, and give the higher effectiveness to the heavier clothing, (not a dancing leotard).
2. Give tailors the ability to make certain shoulder straps that show pockets into wearable containers with an inventory of about 5 or so.
3. Eye Wear and Cloaks!!!
4. Give tailors the ability to make clothing attachments into their cloths (beyond the current BE ones). These should be expensive, hard to make, and no more than +2 per article of clothing.
Thats my two cents, and doing these little changes would make the tailor prof profitable, and helpful for us non tailors

I agree completely. I'd also like to see the devs change the belts the same as you suggest changing the bandoliers. Also, since you are able to wear a belt and a backpack, I think you could wear something like a belt pouch, and a pack, and thereby increase your inventory size.

As for increased storage in clothing items, I've got to say, no. We can already carry enough stuff around to kill a Bantha. I'd say that more than accounts for what we have in our pockets/bandoliers/fany packs/etc...
The BE tissues though, I have no idea how they came up with what to let us do and what not to. This is an area that certainly needs to be expanded.

*gasp!* why havn't any tailors thought of these idea's!
... oh yeah... we have... multiple times... over and over, over the past 12 months. With nary a glance from SOE.
(sorry, don't mind me. I'm just bitter)
The craftable wearable containers idea is one of my particular favorites. Not so much to add even more inventory space (tho that would be nice), but to have the ability to further organize our inventory's.
With an equipable 10 unit satchel doctors could have a spot to place wound packs seperate from buff packs and heal packs. Crafters could have a place to put crafting tools, or survey tools seperate from general inventory. Warriors could place foods and powerups for easy access, away from general inventory.

I can't think of anyone who would really need more than 110 spaces in an inventory. I'd like to see alternative storage options though, a shoulder bag or craftable satchels, just to give players a choice.
And I'd also like to see BE's range of clothing tissues expanded, a tissue that increases the chance of a successful DNA sample instantly comes to mind as BE's don't have any skill tapes yet.

I think craftable satchels would be nice, because not all of us can go fight stuff so easily and get them as loot. I also agree about expanding the range of BE tissues that can be added to clothes. I mean, its not fair when you got tissues that give a bonus to melee/stun defense(which covers pretty much anything in the brawler tree), and bonus to Cover (that only benifits Rifleman tree?) yet no tissue that give any kind of Pistol, or Carbineer bonuses. Not to mention there is stuff for Scouts, Rangers and Creature Handlers and both the Medic and Entertainer professions.I would gladly take on the extra crafting ofclothes with thos bonuses if it meant i didnt have to tell a person using Pistols 'Sorry i have no clothes that can help you'
