Thread: New hotpants in game?

My girlfriend got these out of a locked container.
Notice the lil wing thingies on the sides,a master tailor/smuggler sliced the container and she said that to her knowledge these ARE NOT craftable.
Has anyone else seen these in game?

They're not craftable, they've been around for a while, and they are SO on the big list of things we want.
Those are pretty cool looing hawtpants

I think they are ugly...they look like a diaper or something lol

I have a few pairs. They look like they are modeled off the Lightspeed Briefs from Futurama. I can't find a screenie from the show, but managed to find this: http://actionfigures.about.com/library/nosearch/nff-fry5.htm. You can make out the 'wings' on the briefs, so you can see where I made the connection.
I like the fact that there are some items that are just drops. All of mine I have purchased off the bazaar for feeble amounts of cash. There are also the pants that look like para camos, but are not quite the same and the ones that have the lattice ankle that remind me of 60s trousers. Having the occasional item that can't be created makes things interesting. It is not as if hooded cloaks or capes are dropping after all...
But yes, they are extremely ugly. Especially the ones in the faded pink.

my pair is white with silver wings and has the awe inspiring skill mod of Carbine Accuraccy While Moving: 1
too bad it has no sockets and i don't use carbines.... *shrug* still doesn't stop me from wearing them all over the server.

Sorry when i see something advertised as "Now with wings!". I just dont think hotpants. But the devs modeling something off of Futurama actually makes some weird sense. I should name a batch of Vaserian Brandy as "Slurm"
