cust: Can I get a Spiderman suit?

me: ??????

cust: You know a red suit with blue lines

He's GOT to be talking about the tactical skin suit.

me: I thinkI can get something close (whipping up a Red/Blue tact suit on my droid) gonna be 7K though.

cust: np

fast forward 10 minutes....

cust: This is GREAT!!!! here's 10K.

Soooooooooo. Just like the "smock/trenchcoat" idea I whip up some "spidey suits" and I'm selling them like crazy. 6K a pop on the bazaar!!!!!

Hehe, creative! Maybe the composite helmet would be the closest thing to a mask?

Hmm.. so you take an item that you normally sell for 7k but that people will happily pay 10k for yet you sell it for 6k on the bazaar, losing 4k of profit each and undercutting your own already low price??

Odd business practices.

This is an idea that Ladywolff on Lowca first came up with weeks ago. She came to my alt, Alyosha, and asked for 2 crates of Spiderman Suits. I gave her a good price...made 300K off of them. It seems the idea is catching. I believe it is a guild thing for TAG on Lowca.

His 10k charge was not making up for his cost it is pure profit. There was no undercutting.

It sounds like 6k a suit on the bazaar is more than making up in volume what 10k per custom order suit would have been in the amount of money he makes in a month.

What are your buisness practices?

Noooo please no no no don't turn this into another godforsaken overcharging/undercutting thread! Let people charge what they want and don't try and convince them that your business practices are better than theirs. Just let it go and be amused by the thread.
