I have tried to get 4 sockets on a Sunguard with +25/25 Injury/Wound treatment 12 times today, max I have

gotten is 3! Did the devs change something or is my luck running thin. If they did change it, thats going to

hurt my business since I am known for 4 socket BE Clothing.

They nerfed it. Tons and tons of discussion about that in this forum, do a search and you'll find it. Funny last night I lost my first sale (that I know of) because of sockets. I got a request for a 4-socket +25 medical sunguard and I told the guy that I'll make the sunguard but his odds weren't good (10% or thereabouts) that it would be 4-socket. He said "gotta have 4 socket, so no sale" so I shrugged my shoulders and that was that.

Yes, they changed it.

I also try to have only 4 socket items on my vendor and it is very frustrating going through so many failed attempts.

I'm thinking I just got hella lucky, but the last two +25 Injury/Wound Treatment items I've made (Striped Slacks, Pleated Skirt) have both been 4 socket…now if only I could figure out why and keep doing that.

Me too, out of the 9 pairs of pocketed shorts with +15 Camo/mask scent I made this afternoon six had 4 sockets, two had 3 and one had no sockets at all.

I heard they 'nerfed' it a while ago, but this started happening to me recently. Oh, I will still be doing 4 sockets,I will experiment a crate or two of tissues if I have to.

I just experimented 16 Bandoliers with +4 melee def / def vs stun +17 before I got 4 sockets... going to liquidate them.

Actually I had someone who wanted the same thing... guy said he would pay for the experimentations. I ended up experimenting it 14 times before I got 4 sockets. I charged him 200k for everything. The guy was so greatful for my efforts he gave me 300k, I had a stock full of these 4 socket hats, but the guy wanted a custom name on it because he was dropping a med experimentation tape in it. But I usually get high rollers doing customs with me since my name is out there.

I believe it was nerfed in pub 7

i wear a tailors crafters apron while i make my items and still have trouble getting a 4 socket item..not sure if the stats on the apron are all nerfed but it doesnt seem to help much either.

It seems to be totally random... made 3 medical crafting aprons today... all 3 different... one didnt have sockets at all... the other had 3 sockets, and last had 4 sockets... think that one will make me lots of money heheee

Past two times I was asked specifically for 4-socket items, I ended up making like 12 of each before finally getting one with 4 sockets. It drives me crazy.

But at least the first guy who asked tipped me like 5 times what I asked, which was already 3 times the item's normal price...

I've been crafting with an apron (+5 experimentation), a hat with a +15 experimentation tape, and a shirt with a +1 experimentation tape on it. I'd say I get 4 sockets about 75% of the time, and 3 sockets about 20% of the time.

Actually, I've only gotten 2 sockets once, and non lower than that, so my percentages may be a bit lower, I'm just not ruling anything out
