I am running an order for a party and am trying to make schematics and have a few factory runs instead of hand crafting a 100+ articles. Well here is were the problem lies, I go ahead and make my schem for the boots I want, white & silver, and then examine them in the data pad and they are totally off white (cream). The whole boot and sole the whole thing is nothing like I crafted. So I try to make a pair of pants (in schematic form) and make them white with silver trim and I check in the datapad and examine them and the pants are white and the trim is now the same cream color as the boots. What will happen if I craft these articles will they come out like I made them or come out like the datapad shows?
I was thinking this may be a problem with the datapad not showing all the colors, but I would think they should examine correctly. I even tried making the schematic a couple times thinking maybe I lost my mind when I made it but that was not the case.
Any info on this at all would be great as I dont want to make a factory run of these and have them be totally off color and have a million things sitting around and use up all those resources plus more factory time in making components.
If need be and this is a stupid bug that I havent come across and I have to hand make them a 100+ times over I will so they ar correct but I would prefer not too at all costs.
Thanks

The datapad doesn't show the true color. In fact, I have a schem for red hawtpants that, when I took it out of the factory, appeared as white noob workpants. If you're still unsure, put the schem into the factory, put in enough ingredients for one item, and let it make the one item (should take maybe 5 mins). When the item turns out the way you want it, you will be very comfortable running the other 99.

Thanks for the info on the datapad not showing whats in there and what it makes.
Plus a great idea on making just one. I was totally freaked out on the fact that it didn't look right that nothing else mattered. heh
Thanks
