Tailor Archive

Okay, so I'm up to my second box leading eventually to Tailoring, and my datapad carries the schematics for several interesting pieces of clothing. I'm all eager to start cutting my teeth as a tailor.... but.... you need fiberplas panels to make clothing, and x-many units of fiberplas to make the panels... it shows up in neither the Mineral nor Flora resource detector-thingies.... what do I do? Does the fiberplas plant (someone told me it was a plant, rather like cotton)simply not grow on Tattooine? Am I screwed? Do I travel offworld to hunt/harvest the rare and elusive fiberplas? If so, WHERE?

Fiberplast is a chemical, to harvest it you're going to need a chemical survey tool. You can build yourself one with some minerals and a generic crafting tool.
