Sounds like trading is bugged. That used to work for me. Trading seems very picky lately, and any little thing you do other than drag to the trade window seems to cancel the trade. So maybe clicking on the mail message and grabbing the schematic causes the trade to disrupt?

You could try attaching it to a mail message (the same way you can do with waypoints), but I have no idea if that would work, it's just off the top of my head. Good luck!

Thanks for the reply. We both tried loggin. He and I are both not hititng enter or anything like that. I drag it, it hits the trade window then cancels. I tried attatching to email too and it wont

So.. I lost 10k.Any help would be great thanks.

The only way I've found is to use the bazaar

I drag it from my data pad to his window then it auto-cancels the trade. Any ideas?

I deleted those 2 old ones and still nothing. Anyone else unable to drag a schematic from your data pad to the trade window? Also, people talk about selling them through the bazaar. I tried this and it wouldnt work. How do you select it to sell? With the sell window open there is no way to select a schematic. Help please!

By design, are you *supposed* to be able to sell and trade schematics in the first place? I always thought that wasn't supposed to be possible....

As I understand it, the easiest way to have them make you an admin on their faactory and then you load it for them

I sold 2 schematics on the bazaar today.

What you do, is when you are looking at items to sell, look up at the top. There will be a button that says "data", and you can find your schematic on that and list it just like any other item.

Have not tried trading schematics since launch, but with the changes to trade making trades cancel at the blink of an eye... or just by talking to someone... I would not be surprised if trying to trade a schem cancels it. I would suggest having your datapad open to the schems beforeinitiating the trade. In beta, all we did was drag the schem to the trade window. Recipient could not see the schem icon in the window, so would have to take it on faith that it was there.

On another note... what value are people putting on a schematic? If I can sell a crate of 25 cloth for 10k, how much should I sell a schematic for?

I traded schematics several times in beta to an armorsmith with a wearables factory. Maybe we weren't supposed to be able to do it, but it always worked.
