Tailor Archive
Thread: For all you grinders out there--
If you plan on grinding your way to master tailor, then this is a must. If you have any decent combat skill(rifle, pistol, melee) equip a weapon of your highest category. For instance I have Rifle specialist, so I equip an SG82 rifle. Now go find your closest Artisan Mission terminal. Grab 2 survey missions of the same kind and see if there is a vein 520m away from the terminal. If there isnt, drop the missions and go get 2 new missions for different resources. I usually use inert petro as that is usually found around the city. Now when you locate the vein, drop a waypoint there. All you have to do to make mad $$$ is run between the artisan terminal, grabbing missions of that type, to the way point and survey. I made over 200k yesterday and over 160k on sunday. With that money, I bought all the metal I will need(at 3 cred/unit) to hit master tailor. Next I have to work on gather fiberplast but that is hard to find at 3 cred/unit.
Just get out there now before they nerf artisan missions.
The biggest things to know in grinding are that you can make just enough to keep your equipment running from novice tailor, grab field wear I, sell tech packs like mad, grind to casual III, sell cloaks (maybe) and bustiers like mad, make a fortune and do what you want after that. Cloaks are also a great grind at 275 xp for 110 resources (without practicing). small pocket belts at field wear II are decent at 152xp for 60 resources, using inert petro and 10 metal, a bit better than ribbed shirts and I had tons of inert petro. Far and away the best xp grind I know is the cartridge belt at 299xp for 110 resources (with practice on) but it eats a lot of steel.
